SF6 play test notes:
- Special moves do not build meter on whiff
- cannot jump over (or crossup) in corner
- drive rush into overhead seems to be 0 or maybe even plus on block.
- overheads are safe on block not punishable
- punish counter has more frame advantage than counter hit
POV:
- you have 1% HP left
- exactly 2 super bars (or less)
- at the center of the stage (or further from the corner)
- your opponent does drive impact through a normal
- 1 million dollars on the line
- 15 seconds or less left
How can you win this round? Show me the way

Low attacks don't air reset in SF6 (they did in SF5), so instead of anti airing the normal way, you can make the opponent land on a low into a full combo.
Depending on the low used, you can even make it hit meaty (on a later active frame) for even more combos.
Learn this!

Ryu's non cinematic CA has better frame advantage than regular CA and deals similar damage if you can get 5 hits of it.
Here's a concept that could potentially lead to a guaranteed stun combo if the CA burns them out.
Let me know if you have practical setups for this!

One of the realest moments I remember with Mike Ross was in Evo 2012 some dude had a “Mike Ross is a fraud!” sign and asked Mike to take a picture with it as Mike was sitting there with a lady friend. Mike was like “Yea sure!”, grabbed the sign, tore it up and tossed it away.
iDom had one of the most incredible losers bracket runs in Evo history.
He beat Joey, Dankadillas, Terrence, JB, Xian, AngryBird, Mister Crimson, Daigo, Tokido, Gachikun, and barely lost to the champ Kawano.
Incredible. Sooooo close!
The last Guile drive rush overhead into sonic boom loop I was able to find! 7009 damage 💪🇺🇸
If someone master's the timing and spacing to make LP perfect sonic boom +15, Guile will be able to do 6 or 7 raw drive rushes in one combo!
Is Necalli the most irrelevant character in the history of Street Fighter?
When he was initially revealed, I thought he was going to be the boss of SFV but he ended up being a big disappointment.
This round honestly has me thinking:
Is guessing wrong a lot of times in a round the same thing as playing poorly?
It may not happen often but I think a lot of players lose rounds like this.
I don’t want to make this about throw loops tbh.
Just curious on what you guys think.
Street Fighter 6 is looking absolutely incredible.
Look at how the glow on Ryu’s OD Donkey Kick is most prevalent in his foot and the smokey effect when it hits. It looks TOO good!
I haven’t been this excited for a Street Fighter game since the announcement of Street Fighter 4.
DBFZ Twitter after a balance patch is the best. It always seems like Frieza and Beerus “finally got the buffs they need” then 2 weeks later no one is doing anything with them and we’re back to Bardock Level 3s.
This is the hardest combo in Street Fighter V.
Before every stand MK (except for the first one), he’s doing a microwalk without losing charge while also not getting f+MK and pressing HP fast enough to be within the cancel window and immediately charging again to keep loop going.
Seemed impossible, but I got it. 1003 stun. Figured out you could get the cmd grab at the end if you microwalk xx hp fb into microwalk st.lp, but couldn't get close enough. So I did 2 more microwalk to get me there. This is so hard
Not trying to vague-post bait everyone lol he showed me the proper techniques for doing jump-socd super for a bunch of different contexts.
Makes certain sequences so trivial
I watched this and thought, ain’t no damn way he’s going to dizzy from this without a reset and definitely not gonna kill. Oh my god he’s actually doing it.
WTF!
I saw
@paladin1019
mention this but it didn't get much attention.
Ryu LK tatsu > dash > LP Hashogeki and be +2 on block, in throw range even if the opponent walks back, and able to get a low confirm.
He can't walk out of their throw but can backdash > 2MK.
he EATIN!

Just got my first job offer to start as a software engineer! I’m so happy and relieved.
Thank you so much to everyone who helped me these last few months with all my annoying algorithm questions 😂
Ryu might be the only character in SF6 that can build 1 bar of super meter starting from a counter hit medium attack.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
#SF6_Ryu
Ken can punish -10 or worse sweeps for 3040 damage meterless from pretty far.
Doesn't this seem a little excessive? Can any other character punish that hard without spending resources?
#SF6_Ken
This will make for a fun challenge!
Try to do it with your character!
First hit cannot be a counter hit or punish counter.
2nd hit has to be a backdash punish.
You can start with full meter and full drive just like in this clip.
Who else can do this?

FGC: I miss old games with HARD to do combos!
*character specialist shows hard to do combo that took hours to learn to do once in training mode just to explore new concepts*
FGC: man FUCK THIS CHARACTER! DELETE HIM FROM THE GAME.
We as the FGC honestly don’t deserve anything😂
@RedRiotRoss
Plenty to hate about JP, but taking it out on hyper situational, extremely difficult and risky to execute combos that require hours of lab time seems to be the wrong place to put that energy.
So it’s time to announce this now. My girlfriend Vanessa
@v3neiino

Airi Sage Arias is expected to make her big debut on New Year’s Eve!
A NEW WARRIOR HAS ENTERED THE RING 🥊
The Ultra Street Fighter 4 announcer has been added to SF6 as a working mod! Support its trailer below, the mod is in there!
"GLAD YOU COULD JOIN US!"
If you’ve been playing fighting games for 20+ years and you are still blaming your losses on the new game being too easy, you need to stop and think, maybe it’s you or fighting games are just not for you.
It can’t be the game (new mechanics, characters, strategies) every time…
