It has imprinted on them to eat as much as possible in fear of not knowing if/when they will get their next meal. It’s called trauma…which the other children don’t have

@tatertotsconor Give yourself time. Grief comes in waves. Sobriety is a huge win. I just lost my uncle who was the only father I’ll ever know…I fell off the wagon after 14&1/2 years of sobriety. I’m crying as I type this.
