Topkapi Palace will forever be one of my favourite places. It’s so beautiful. Obviously the chamber of Holy Relics is a must see, but anyone who goes there should definitely visit the treasury. It’s full of beautiful works of calligraphy. Will post some of my favs soon.

Just to explain further... this is the family tree of a client who has a direct lineage to Abu Bakr Siddique (r.a). What’s interesting is that it also contains the Prophet (s.a.w) because they were from the same lineage. It was honestly amazing to read this family’s story!

Saw this video on tiktok for this thing called kayseri yaglamasi which is almost like a lasagne but with layers of thin tortilla style bread, and my sis in law found the recipe and recreated it… it was so damn good
