Damian Lane’s suggestion & encouragement in Japan went a long way to Mer De Glace being brought out here for the Caulfield Cup. Next Sat in the Cox Plate he’ll ride Lys Gracieux, a mare he considers to be “one of, if not the best horse I’ve ever ridden.” Could be a big 8 days!
