First round at Royal Dornoch is in the books. Hard to believe a course ranked as high as #3 in the world exceeded my expectations.The course won on front 9, highest 9 in a long time 43…somehow turned into a different person on the back with a 1-under 34 for a 77! Special place!

This is my tee shot on the par 3 3rd hole at Royal Aberdeen Golf Club. It was 207 yards and I hit the most perfect shot… 40% of the ball is hanging in the hole; how does this not go in??? 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️🙄⛳️

I took this picture last August as Oakland Hills had one of the most beautiful clubhouses I had ever seen; I’m teary eyed looking at the images of what happened today. Sending my condolences to all the great members at Oakland Hills and glad nobody was injured.
