@ask_aubry And this is one of the main reasons that women "say nothing" and "put up with" creepy men sitting next to them because they fear what will happen if they say anything or move. Can't go upsetting men. Their behaviour is too unpredictable. We learn this from an early age.

You can't make these things up. Friend who follows ice-skating sent me TikTok of opening of European figure skating championships in Finland. Shows a 50 yr MtF, took up skating 2 yrs ago. Had special spot in ceremony, but fell and couldn’t get up again.

@jo_bartosch 2015 was a turning point for me in that l knew "something" wasn't right in the world of Diversity & Inclusion. Women's issues were getting sidelined. In 2018 the fog lifted and it was clear what was happening, but l do think there are cracks in the wall.

Just had devastating news. 20yr old daughter of friend just died. She was due to have a very large, benign brain tumour removed in 10hr operation after graduation this year. She'd been epilepsy free for 2 years, just got back her driving licence. All going well. So sad. 💔

@factualmama @WomenAreWomen3 @jk_rowling @PankhurstEM When my 93yr old late MIL suddenly became incapacitated we had social care services for 10 days. Intimate care often done by young men. I didn't think l could complain and too much going on. I regret that now. She used to shut her eyes. She deserved dignity in her last days.
