@UbakaOgbogu I grew up in Singapore and people have been wearing masks on transit and other public spaces since forever. It's just common sense. I don't know why taking care of the health of yourself and the people around you has become politicized.

Received this from my kiddo after getting my Covid vaccine part deux. Contents included unused bubbles, two painted rocks and a bracelet. I am armed for success. Why vaccinate? To protect these little minions that are still vulnerable.

@sheikhimaan Don't forget the galay mein silver taveez strung on a kaali dori, namaz ki topi superglued on head and a keffiyeh scarf draped casually on the shoulders. Throw in a tasbeeh in hand for good measure.

@sohnianika A friend traveling by plane was asked by a man sitting next to her, 5 mins after sitting down, "Selfie lein?" She immediately had her seat changed. I shudder to think of that man possibly taking a selfie had she fallen asleep & posting it online saying "New gf" or some nonsense.

@Leena_Ghani @TMItalks Thank you for articulating what I've been feeling since this whole debacle began. @TMItalks Dr. Mehrub is a powerhouse of knowledge and talent. I have no doubt that she would have catered her Ted Talk to her audience exactly. But I guess we'll never know. Bigotry lives on.

Had 4th row seats to see @itsaadee . He's a phenomenal live performer, but we've known that since his Jal days. But it was his last song, a medley of Tajdar e Haram, Wohi Khuda Hai and Kun Faya Kun, complete with visuals of Madinah behind him, that brought the house down. Sublime.
