I finished 10-5 at EUIC after absolutely bombing Day 2. I didn’t feel very confident in my team going into the event, so I’m happy to make it that far and finally break the 6-3 streak I’ve been on lately.

2024 season recap! I attended 12 majors using 11 different teams. I made Day 2 a total of 4 times, with my highest placement at 16th. My most used mon was Ogerpon-Wellspring (7/12 teams). My most used archetype was balance (6/12). Next season I'll work hard for a big finish.

2023 has been one of the best years of my life. Discovering a love for VGC and traveling for events was an incredible experience. I’m most thankful for all of the amazing friends I’ve made. I feel encouraged by my improvement and I know I can go further. I’ll see you next year!

I went 7-2 for the first time at Peoria with this team, it was the first original team that I both felt good about and did well with. Power Band Scream Tail might be my favorite Pokemon set ever. I did bad in day 2 but I finished 33rd which was funny.

What was the first team you ever brought to a tournament that you felt proud of? My first team and first ever tournament! Went 8-1 in Swiss before getting destroyed by Taran in top cut. It’s inefficient (sash max HP lol), degenerate but I love it.

Peoria Regional 9-5 33rd place This team will always be special to me. Although my first day 2 was in Fresno a few months before, I had bubbled in at 6-3, so Peoria was the first time I felt like I actually earned it. The team was unique and I loved using it.

San Antonio MSS 9-2 2nd place Thanks to 0 prep and a flawed team, I dropped the main event at 2-4. Fuelled by hatred for Landorus-I, I stayed up until 3am building around Ninetales + SpA Bundle. This team worked great in the B01 swiss MSS, and I was very proud to make finals.

Portland Regional 10-4 16th place As was becoming a recurring theme, I didn’t prep and so didn’t have a team the day before the event. I threw this together and resigned myself to a mediocre finish. To this day I swear the team was awful and I simply played extremely well.

Charlotte Regional 6-3 190th place This team was very enjoyable both to build and play. Although it looks questionable, I remain adamant that it had the potential to make day 2 and I failed to live up to it. Credit to @bdogplatinum for the boulder idea

Vancouver Regional 6-3 83rd place A few weeks before the regional I brought a similar team to a PC, and discovered that Whimsicott felt legit. I actually put time into building and prep, but I failed to take the team into day 2. However, this team is still one of my favorites.
