@travis_robert Wouldn’t discouraging unnecessary cars on the road allow small business owners and operators to 1) get around the CBD easier and 2) find parking more readily? Also, wouldn’t they pass that cost on to their employer or customers so everyone is just paying a small pro-rata portion?

@ChrisDJackson @KFILE If I had a 1/5 chance of dying every time I got on an airplane, I’d never get on an airplane.* *this is for illustrative purposes only as flying is extremely safe and your odds of dying in a commercial plane crash are like 1/10,000,000.

I spend a lot of time defending Liberty State Park from Fireman surrogates’ lies. His allies @LSPNJ4ALL @peoplesparklsp @TEAMWALKERJC work tirelessly to tear down @NewJerseyDEP and @LibertyParkNJ Let’s take a moment to go on the offensive against Paul Fireman in a thread: 1/

@EleanaLittle Deeply embarrassing that we have made zero progress on expanding transit and service in the last 6-7 years and only just now got dedicated funding for NJT.

@njvinnie @tify330 Even if you’ve gone wobbly, the message is, “I support the President of the United States. And I’ll crawl over broken glass to vote for Democratic candidates up and down the ballot in this election.” That’s it or just “no comment.”

@JeffTittel @c2cfree @PANYNJ @PATHTrain I agree that’s a good use of money but . @PANYNJ only controls capital expenditures for the airports, seaports, bridges & tunnels, and PATH. NJTransit would have to invest in Newark Light Rail. Unfortunately, . @GovMurphy would rather take our billions in bonds for highways…

I feel like @AndyKimNJ is up here in Jersey City campaigning because @HudsonDems and @GovMurphy haven’t given our party’s nominee the full-throated endorsement and support he deserves. Democrats have spoken. Let’s bring this home in November.

The other week I joined Council President Watterman at Riverview Farmers Market to see how it delivers for Jersey City every Sunday. I appreciated her words on why. @JCHeightsMarket is a testament to the strength of bringing SNAP and WIC, Jersey fresh farms, and local businesses

Passed with the minimum number of votes. Three Republicans — Singer, Henry and Amato — helped put it over the line. Just 2 Democratic no votes — Zwicker and Timberlake— but abstentions from Johnson, McKeon, McKnight, Mukherji. (Turner absent, along with Bucco and Holzapfel)

@RezaC1 @JasonBeeferman @GovKathyHochul As someone who commutes using PATH and MTA for work, we all benefit from each trip that isn’t taken in my personal car or in a Lyft. MTA has issues because it was raided of funding for decades. Costs go up each time you have a start/stop cycle that guts in-house talent.

@News12NJ 1) Why did @GovMurphy campaign against congestion pricing instead of negotiating a revenue share agreement with @GovKathyHochul to help fund NJTransit? 2) Why spend $14B to widen the Turnpike and raise tolls when, instead, we can raise tolls and fund transit?

Was Stack serving his residents when he helped pass a bill that would have helped Paul Fireman build in Liberty State Park? Was he serving his residents when he worked to block affordable housing in Hoboken? Was he serving his residents when he gutted OPRA? Who is he serving?

Can we get some unified legislative action from Hudson County @bmccannstamato @SenatorMcKnight @jramirezesq @JPA07030 @RajMukherji @brianstacknj against this project? @GovMurphy is trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist and making existing problems (NJTransit) worse.

Peak morning traffic – bottleneck every morning is cars waiting across 6 highway lanes – 139U, 139L, I-78 – to squeeze into the 2 lane Holland Tunnel. @GovMurphy 's misdirection last night the bottleneck is the bridge is simply not true @NancySolomon2 . #TurnpikeTrap

Glad to see elected officials are speaking out on this boondoggle. When first announced, Rob Menendez supported the expansion. Hopefully, we’ll soon have a representative who will get us the resources to expand transit and not turnpikes.

Wasting $10.7 billion of taxpayer dollars on foolhardy highway expansions is the definition of poor public policy. I strongly oppose the misguided Turnpike widening and would allocate this funding for our mass transit infrastructure. Read more:

@danieljhan_ @GovMurphy This is a terrible take from @GovMurphy . We should be indexing for a more democratic process and letting the voters decide who should represent them. If good candidates put themselves forward, we should get good governance as a result.
