It's not fair to Civ to compare it to the traditional GSGs like CK, EU, Vic, or HOI as it spans thousands of years more than all of those. But it is fair to compare it to Stellaris since they are both 4Xes- and it's no contest, Stellaris blows it out of the water.

@nemo_literam I guess this largely reflects a fundamental disagreement between you and I about what is the "primary work" of TNO- I always viewed the universe in general as the core of TNO, and fanworks, the mod, and one's internal headcanon are all representations of it.

@Slicingeagle @nemo_literam Any attempt of critiquing fascism by impersonal, utilitarian criticism of it's "efficiency" is genuinely dangerous, and I'm immensely glad the Panzer era moved past that. It's implicitly a pro-fascist argument in cases where fascism has succeeded in destroying their enemies.
