@FakeHeadteacher I was a TA for a year before becoming a teacher. Met with HT after my first pay slip arrived to explain a big mistake had been made. That's when 'pro rata' was explained to me. The pay is appalling when you understand how much they actually do. They're worth their weight in gold!
