A lot of time, querying is like shouting into the void. Other times, it’s like waiting at a beach, & waiting for a wave to crash down. And sometimes, it’s like sitting at the beach, & the ocean gives you something nice, so you wait to see if something else nice will come along.

Proud to say I checked my manuscript and I only used the word “just” 45 times out of 355 pages 👏🏻 🙌 (I was expecting the figure to be closer to idk, 500 or even 1000 😂) It’s okay though because I have plenty of crutch words to work on 🥲 (looking at you “only”…)
