When I started with the District three years ago, I would have never guessed this would happen. I'm so thankful for the support of our admin, teachers and every one that I've had to chance to work with in the WSD. I'm looking forward to serving the District in this new role.
Making it Twitter official. I'll be joining the
@WSDinfo
in January and I'm excited about the opportunity to impact lives and to make a difference. Very appreciate to be selected for this role.
Congratulations to
@ddocket

Props to Oklahoma State
@OSUMBB
on the schedule release. The players tweeted graphics and the team account retweeted the players. Love the concept. Simple and creative. Put them together in a GIF and you've got another piece of solid content.

Since Twitter is filled with negatives, I share a positive:
I received my 1st COVID vaccine today at Family Arena via
@SCCHealth
. My appointment was at 12:30 and I was on my way home at 12:51. Lines moved smoothly and I encountered zero issues. Thanks to all that volunteered!
We’re thrilled to add another talented school communication professional to our team! As a communication strategist,
@ddocket
will help public schools & districts tell their stories through content creation, graphic design, branding & more.

Reminded that its been a year (and a few days) since this happened. Sure, there was a little uncertainty going into it but it has all been met with support and encouragement from District admin, teachers and staff. Thankful to be part of the team.

This week I had a freshman apologize to me because she doesn’t know what she wants to do with her life. Why are we giving 18-year-olds the idea that they should have their lives figured out?
With everything that Caitlin Clark has done, I have a new appreciation for seeing Jackie Stiles play in person. What a time that was and what a special year 2001 was.
Not many people in this “social media era” of basketball even know who this is!! That’s why it’s hard for me to acknowledge so many OPINIONS of the women’s basketball experts! 🏀❤️💯🙏🏾
At my previous career stop, I told college student athletes to treat social media like a press conference — everyone can see what you post...so be careful.
Parents: your kids see what you post...be an example.
Not that anyone cares, but I've crossed over 900 miles for the year, the most I've ever done since I've started consistently running.
2020: 805 miles
2021: 661 miles
We'll see how close I can get to 1,000...
Sappy tweet alert
I can’t express enough gratitude for family, friends & coworkers. The support & encouragement over the last few weeks have been overwhelming. Personal & professional relationships (past & present) always mean a lot to me and I’m thankful for those in our life.
A little social media advice: your “likes” will show in your followers feed from time to time, especially for those using Twitter’s native app. Please be careful.
Winning in sports is great but we can't forget that while competing, young men and women are also learning essential skills: teamwork, perseverance, critical thinking, problem solving, leadership and more.
What is learned in sports can be applied in life.
