In the Beta of DBD there was an unreleased map called Farm Cross, which included every farm map into one big map. In the Farm Cross map there is a crouch loop that was taken out of Rancid Abattoir. It's laggy due to old killer hosting.

Got to play on the unreleased swamp map. Its called Grim Gully in the files and it was even playable in the beta of dbd, no idea why they didn't finish it. There was another map called Deadlake which is a large version of Grim Pantry which is also unreleased.

Found an unused add on from clown that is similar to huntresses iri add on. His bottles turn into bombs and takes 1 health state if a survivor is walking or standing still, in the commands the add on was called gasbomb_20b. It has its own explosion effect!

Set up an old 3.2.2 lobby today. Old Ormond, old Billy, old movement, 2v8's. Was the most fun I've ever had in dbd, old dbd is just sm more fun.

Can't relate, imagine an older patch being more functional then the live version of the game. Did you know almost none of the lights on Hawkins work (on live) they're all off or don't flicker like they are meant to. So instead of fixing their map they just make it brighter XD

Made some 1.3.1 lobbies playing against chainsaw Nurse, Myers and Hag sm fun to play, she kinda ate us all up. The lighting and blurred background looks so good idk why they took this away.

Facility map that never released, its like a Haddonfield variant, there are many Haddonfield variants in the files that are tests. I think this would've been a better release than the original Haddonfield that we got just bc of the size and there's less fences etc.

i think it was taken out bc if there was any kind of lag it would throw 2 bottles instead of 1. There was also another hidden add on that showed a white hightlight of the survivor if thrown directly on the survivor, that same add on would give wallhacks.

Another Swamp map that was scrapped. Named Deadlake in the files, this is like a Grim Pantry variantion. The pipes were also in Grim Gully and this map but were taken out. There was a test map for this variation but in the end they chose Grim Pantry and left this out completely.

Tryks as a Nea legendary would be so good. She can be found in the files as a survivor including her full model. She also has different coloured eyes but 1 is covered by a mask. It will be interesting to see how she is included in the anniversary.

The Village in the Beta version of DBD. The map is more complete here than in 3.0 but its just untextured. Paradise Creek is what the realm was supposed to be called, it included every swamp map into 1 big map. The willow tree and sewage pipe appear in this version to.

@hlake72 Something else I found, Family Residence main building was mean to have a 2nd floor with no stairs up to it meaning there might’ve been ladders or some other way to reach the 2nd floor but was also scrapped.

I had only heard about sabotaging traps but never saw it anywhere until I played with a group on 1.0. Trapper already being the weakest killer and then making it so he can't use his traps is some interesting balancing decisions XD

Unpopular opinion but I personally love Nurse chases the most and I prefer old Shelter Woods over the new Shelter Woods just because it has more of a horror atmosphere and the fog shows really well in this version.

I was looking through an old patch, 3.2.2. Just to datamine and look for things that might've not made it to live servers, and I found that there is a bRequiresPushToTalk command so maybe there was a possibility of vc for survivor.

So I asked about the map I found in an old server! Turns out the map is not called Grim Gully (which is in the file name for the map) it’s called The Village, and they have no plans to release it with the swamp rework :(

Bhvr makes some kind of assault course to test stuff out in each patch, this is the assault course for the pig release patch. It’s called Gym Infinite. They can sometimes be fun for 1v1’s.
