@SkyFootball This is a red card offence - it’s not referees’ jobs to explain the laws of the game you all play! This can potentially escalate conflict with the opposition which is why it’s stamped on quickly. Easy solution - don’t be a dick.

Ended up 10th out of 86 referees in the South West pool for club marks at the end of 2023. 34th in the table from FA observations. Lots to learn and improve, but that’s not bad in my first season as a L4.

@ImtaBrendan @annie_mel_farm This was 20-30 years ago, while I know society still has a long way to go I do believe toy makers (Mattel, LEGO etc) are doing great work for inclusivity. A lot still to be done, but they are much more aware than they were a few decades ago.

Right that’s a couple of National League & Southern League teams I’ve officiated so far & its clear that while the pace isn’t massively different to Step 5 (less end to end) they require 100% mental focus for 90+ mins. Fitness & communication skills are everything now. #Referee
