On #HolocaustMemorialDay with so few survivors of the Shoah left, it’s imperative that we teach children about how evil it was, & the resilience of those who survived. Not banning books on the subject you deem offensive, or both-siding the teaching of history’s most evil act.

One of my busboys just told me the most amazing thing: the crew universally respected me because I treated & spoke to them like people, not - as in some restaurants- support staff largely comprised of immigrants & talked down to. My God, what a low bar we have in this industry.
