@CaelumGpose It wasn't a DoT. Which is why it WAS important to the design. Proper management of the timer played into your entire rotation. You were on a 40 second timer for a lot of things. Dreadwinder stacks, the rotation buff, and NG.

@ohgoditsranor 99 dungeon, heal and DPS died, I as DPS asked "should we wipe or duo" because it was below 50% but not "low." But FF14 players are allergic to reading and communication, usually.

@TaleraRis Things were noticeably slower. Have you ever seen the first boss do the "stand together" mechanic twice? I have now. Wasn't even just their AoE that was a problem. But no, that's not how teaching works. "Hey, should AoE" is not some insane thing to say in a level 90 dungeon

Speeding through MSQ on an alt to maybe actually have a raid alt in DT and got to the 86 MSQ. I met a certain little friend and the emotions came flooding in. I hope Dawntrail is even a fraction as emotionally gripping.
