Applied to 7. Waitlisted in one, got into University of Washington. Interesting fact: got reject from the department where I am now associate professor.
Sadly, just learned of Sir David Cox’s passing. I once sat next to him at High Table. I asked him about Cox proportional hazard models and he put his hands over his ears and went “La La La La La” and then we chatted about my project.

U of T has not officially moved online. With great deliberation my stats courses will be held online for the last 3 weeks of the term. Reducing large group interactions is the responsible thing to do at this time. Lucky to be in a very supportive department
