Personally, I will never speak of an illegal ferrari engine again.
I hope they're cooking up something so illegal it puts those Italians no.1 on interpol's most wanted list and Lewis walks away with 3 world championships
I'm sorry Toto Wolff isn't aggressive enough for me. Imagine the wailing siren that would be coming from Horner if it was Mercedes breaking the budget cap. He'd be doing hourly statements and getting his own segment with Sky to address the scandal. Where is the circus my friend?
Genuinely wish Lance Stroll all the best in his career. Whilst others have shied away from calling out the manipulation that took place in AD, Lance has been clear and consistent with the facts. Love a principled man ๐
I strongly believe that if the roles were reversed between Red Bull and Mercedes with regards to proposing, and Max was driving in unsafe conditions which negatively impacted his health, there would be more urgency within F1 to fix the issue & the media would be more sympathetic
Juri Vips was born in 2000. He has spent his youth travelling the globe & works with diverse groups of people. What possible excuse can anyone have for a 21 year old using racist and homophobic language? Just accept some people are awful human beings and should face consequence๐ฅด
I don't know, I think it's telling when a 4x world champion can express sympathy and support for a fellow driver but a close teammate (with a supposed good relationship) feels the need to explicitly say he has none.
A lot of misplaced arrogance for a guy with no wins imo
During the w13 launch, Toto spoke about the importance of diversity within motorsport. We got to see and hear from the wonderful Luna Fluxa. In comparison, Horner thinks young girls get into motorsport because of the handsome young drivers. Our team principles aren't the same ๐
If a racists feels comfortable sharing their views in public, it's because they don't believe their will be repercussions. What would make an F1 steward feel comfortable enough to say 'great white hope'? Maybe it's because it's a sentiment held amongst many others within F1/FIA?
Lewis Hamilton in his rookie season was pigeonholed as the second driver. Fought for equal treatment through pure performance. Had the greatest rookie year in F1 & almost won the championship. Is the most decorated driver in F1 history.
Drivers demand the respect he earned๐
LEWIS IS THE DRIVER FIGHTING FOR A POTENTIAL P2 IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP
LEWIS IS THE DRIVER WHO HAS SINGLEHANDEDLY CARRIED THE TEAM TO A P2 IN THE CONSTRUCTORS CHAMPIONSHIP
LEWIS IS THE DRIVER WHO HAS LEAD TO THE CAR DEVELOPMENT
GIVE HIM THE RESPECT HE'S DUE
@MercedesAMGF1
Love to see the TL supporting Rafa. You see the difference between F1 and tennis. Haven't heard anyone say Rafa has 'done enough' and should make way for other younger players to win grand slams.
I wish Lewis would react publicly to the constant disrespect shown by the FIA. I respect & understand his decision to pick his battles- he knows more than anyone the internal politics within F1 & maybe we'll hear more about it when he retires. But it's mad disrespectful since AD!
Team LH really had the best 24 hours in a long time. Masi being fired; a fantastic launch for w13; Lewis interview. Haven't smiled this hard in a long time๐
Lewis Hamilton's iconic Brazil 2021 race is the gold standard. There's a reason why it was not compared to any other previous race by a driver. It's a legendary race.
If you have to compare your drivers performance and result to Brazil 2021, you've answered your own question.
Can we expect a statement from
@F1
@SkySportsF1
and current and past drivers condemning these comments and showing solidarity with Lewis?
Crazy how people trip over themselves to disrespect and dehumanise Lewis but when its time to stand up for him....crickets. Demand better!๐คจ
If Mercedes pursued the legal case, they were threatened with a withdrawal from any FIA affiliated competitions. So how did they have the ability to seek recourse? This sport and the
@fia
does not care about fair competition and fans.
In what world is it appropriate for a driver to be texting a RD who is under investigation for manipulating a race in said drivers favour? Max's latest comment on Masi: "He appreciated my message. He got a few more". The relationship between Masi and Red Bull is unbelievable!
Confirmation: the stewards could have voided the fraudulent lap 58 at Abu Dhabi after Masi chose to manipulate the regs, but they decided not to go back 1 lap. But they've found racing precedent to go back *2 laps* in an F3 champion deciding race. You can't make this shit up.
I wouldn't call what Toto is doing petty. Would you participate in a game where your competitors are cheating and the 'referee' is covering for them *again*?
Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
I'm a huge sports fan- I'm used to disappointment. I'm used to heartbreaks. I'm even used to unfair decisions which do happen.
Abu Dhabi wasn't any of that. It was blatant cheating. A disregard for the rules like we have never seen before. It was cruel beyond measure ๐
Lewis and Newey transfers bringing more buzz and excitement back to F1 than any of Max's world championships is a testament to how shitty his 'dominant' era was.
Well Mercedes had considerably more than *seven* instances to show the safety car procedure and the letter of the rule book and it still wasn't enough for AD '21๐คท๐พโโ๏ธ
๐จ | Aston Martin showed the FIA *seven* different instances where teams touched the rear jack whilst serving similar penalties without the FIA penalising them.
I remember the days when a rookie would come into a team, have a 2x world champion as a teammate & would obliterate the field on pure talent & hard work. The reptuation was earned.
The idea that George has a safe seat is wild. He has not shown even a glimpse of being THAT guy๐
Don't let anyone convince you the British media supports Lewis. The negative articles are ramping up more despite his continued silence. Instead of drawing attention to the corruption within the FIA, they want the public to turn on Lewis. Keep speaking up!
#westandwithlewis
When they stole his championship and the integrity of the sport was eroded, there was no 'rules in the textbook' to revisit the poor stewarding.
But coming back to wack Lewis again one week later because they're bored and want to punish him further? Wtf?
The FIA is revisiting the incident in which Lewis Hamilton crossed a live track during the Qatar Grand Prix.
Despite original stewards decision, โin view of his role model status, the FIA is concerned about the impression his actions may have created on youngerย driversโ
#F1
Lewis could come into my dms, tell me to stop the hate campaign against Woody, and i'd tell him to respectfully mind his business. I don't know who the heck @/MercedesAMGF1 think they are trying to deploy him but no one is fucking listening. Team LH, bark louder!
Pointing out how Lewis activated the release clause in their FIRST statement. To me, its pointing the finger to lay blame when they could be more gracious about the time they've had with him and a simple, idk, simply say THANK YOU!
Lewis got robbed from his 8th title and the justification by many in F1 and the media was that it was a necessary evil. The sport was tired of a dominant winner and in order to keep the 'new fans' flooding into the sport, they had to give them a Hollywood underdog storyline.
Parading Lewis on camera and having him apologise to George but not one video of George taken by the SM team for the numerous times he has cost team points.
The disrespect to their only world champion in the team is crazyyy
Lewis is literally a hype man to all these drivers. Generous in his support and celebrating them but the energy isn't always reciprocated unfortunately. That's why TeamLH do the hating๐ญ
Checo being disrespected publicly by Max was the moment you lost respect for him, and not the various incidents of racial abuse and on track terrorism? Cool, love the fact that Max is losing supporters but I don't respect these fans having this sudden epiphany.
Lewis brings the excitement to F1. Have you heard drivers on radio freaking out when Lewis hunts them down and battles them on track? The fear in their voices๐ญโผ๏ธ
Is Lando removed himself from the crevices of Max's asshole long enough to take a deep breath and realise he doesn't need to disrespect Lewis every other month, he may actually get enough clarity and focus to win his first GP.
What race was it again when Lewis stuck to the delta and other drivers were very slow, but the FIA looked the other way?
The hypocrisy and thirst to go after Lewis is nasty!
#F1
๐จ | FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem allegedly told officials not to certify Las Vegas GP circuit for its race last year.
The (same) whistleblower says they were told โon behest of the FIA presidentโ to find a way not to pass the circuit safe for racing.
The compliance
It doesn't sit right with me that Lewis gets constant racial abuse and other fanbases and drivers don't feel the need to make a statement. But one or a handful of people make misogynistic tweets and suddenly there's a statement addressing teamLH and our conduct. Spare me ๐
Friendly reminder I'm not Sir Lewis Hamilton. I have no brand to protect. I'll speak on the devil child how I please. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk!
Its crazy how Yuki gets handed penalties left right and centre for offences RB drivers continually get away with.
The rules aren't applied fairly! The FIA and stewards are tarnishing the sport.
There's something so moving about logging onto your LinkedIn to leave a hate comment. That's dedication. Thats real love. CultLH, you shine so bright๐ซ
Tommo doesn't get why the Brazilian people love Lewis and would honour him but he can do mental gymnastics to explain why Lewis should come out to defend Masi.
You see that man.... can't stand him.
According to the article, the discrepancy was ยฃ1million. As Lewis said, that's a new floor. That can be the wages of several senior engineers. How is this minor?
#CostCapChampion
I think Sir Lewis Hamilton should dabble in the skincare market because that glow on his cheekbone rivals any Sephora highlighter, I am so serious! Go make fenty bankrupt
As
@_the44
perfectly said on the space today, Team LH are the most eloquent fanbase on f1twt. We stay rooted on the topic & use sources as evidence. If holding the FIA accountable (so much so we're impacting news) bothers you, you don't believe in its institutional credibility.
Frank Williams was such a lovely man and his relationship with Lewis was great. He even wanted Lewis to drive for Williams. Yet this clown wants to disrespect Lewis? Please look at the values of the man who's name is on the wall.
This collective push to paint Lewis in a negative light, despite all his positive and optimistic public statements about the team and car just stinks. They could speak about the 7x world champion being resilient as ever and the hard work he's putting in, but that's boring right.
You don't lie and make disingenuous statements about the work ethic and drive of the most successful driver in F1 who has stuck with you for over 10 years.
You should be especially humble in your flop era. Design a car that doesn't play footsie with the back markers!
George ruined Lewis's qualifying, whether it's an accident or not. There is no silver lining just because RB didn't get pole. He benefited at the expense of Lewis and at the moment it's a good thing there's an ocean between us.
@fia
@LewisHamilton
I wonder who made the comments? Would you like to share their name? What actions are you doing to disassociate with Nelson Piquet going forward? Will he have access to the paddock?
Lewis spent last year data collecting for the team, sacrificing his track position. George happily took the praise and was all for 'team goals' when he benefited. But when it's to help Lewis's track position, he refuses. Even when it's robbed the team from a possible podium?
Mind you, they're purging accounts which aren't mean, rude or hostile. Just simple unapologetically team LH. At the same time, they're on a follow spree for PR63. The chequered flag at Abu Dhabi can't come soon enough.
Toto Wolff is a self centred boss with no real fire to fight for anything that isn't specifically in the interest of the MERCEDES brand. Time and time again he shows no true loyalty to Lewis and fighting for real justice. How can you say removing the title isn't realistic? Loser
Lewis is media trained. There's things he has to say so it doesn't cause a storm around him. I don't believe there's any part of him that isn't fuming. His unfiltered radio message is the truest insight into his thoughts.
A lot of self certified sports psychologists commenting on Lewis Hamilton's mindset. Respectfully, you're not a 7 time world champion. He's had more challenging races than this. By Toto's own admission, the car was the issue today and Lewis couldn't have done more.
If he didnโt make it *impossible* to get a decent picture once per weekend, no one would have to run.
This is his new thing where he blocks his face to photogs/TV.
It makes me laugh so hard how bad the media wants fans to like Max and he gets booed half places he goes unprompted.
He's the most entitled, unlikeable, unmarketable rat with a temper.
oscar piastri definitely has a contract with another team. there's no way a young driver is going to explicitly refuse their FIRST ever f1 seat without having something in place.
Anyone notice how George always vocalises on the radio where he believes he should be.
In Singapore, he was on the radio envisioning a win mid race. During this GP, he was talking about his fight with Norris when he was racing in 8th. His delusion leads to crazy entitlement๐ญ
Its actually quite wild the utter contempt Merc's social media team show Lewis and his fans. I'm sorry, a significant percentage of your fanbase are Lewis fans. Maybe try to keep the goodwill... even for your own stupid corporate needs?
It's almost 6am and I can finally go to sleep with the full knowledge that Mercedes AMG are in the safest hands with their number 1 driver George Russell โค๏ธ
