Lynn did more than anyone to help me understand transition. She always balanced what was possible with the limitations. I had proper expectations before transition, and exceeded all of them after. All of this is due to the transexuals who paved the path before me.

@NeuroSGS So gender dysphoria is real, but personal identity is not. So in that case, no one has an authentic identity I guess. 🤷‍♀️So in the end a gender identity is as valid as anything else? So we just group every issue that has to do with the body in with GD, got it. 👍Sounds scientific

We disagree with Patrick on almost everything, but not on self-ID. It's a noble idea, but the world is not ready for it. This idea requires trust and the world doesn't know us. They're scared of us. Let's take a step back from self-ID so we can take the next step forward together

@rosewash @meganphelps If you're "learning" about trans people from the "The Witch trials of JK Rowling" then you're not learning anything about us. This is a heavily one-sided, hate-funded (Bari Weiss) podcast that trans people involved were tricked into participating in and have since disavowed.

Now that they don't, many AGP's think that transition is the only way to deal with their issue which is part of the problem, and Chris is a good example of this. Transition has a high regret rate in the AGP crowd.
