Unfortunately, the CAT scan revealed that the cancer is too aggressive, to the point where she has more cancer cells than healthy cells in her gut. We are in the last weeks. Still hopeful for a miracle, and we are asking everyone to pray for a full remission of all cancer.

A friend of my wife's asked her to offer up her current sufferings for a little girl who lives in the area, and had pneumonia as well as collapsed lungs. She had no reasonable chance to live, but after Sarah offered her current suffering the girl has made a full recovery!

Lessons in being a single dad: Mess of dust, chips, cookie, etc loosely on the floor; someone tried to sweep it up and couldn't find the dustpan, left it. I could yell or I could just get the dustpan and clean it up. And I do the latter, knowing it's what my wife would have done.

Apart from a few really embarrassing memories of idiotic things I did in college, and watching your wife slowly die, I can't think of a more soul-crushing experience than trying, as a single dad, to get kids ready for Church, and then manage toddlers at Mass.
