A 4-yr-old girl's parents, both members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-days Saints, divorced. They both stop attending church, & thus, that little girl did, too. It wasn't until she was 18-yrs-old & the missionaries knocked her door, that she found the church again.

Eve would have been 6 months today. We sang her halfy birthday, and my niece ran around putting flowers on the nearby graves. Carrie & I ended the day with s'mores with friends whose daughter was stillborn, & we talked & coped together by the fire. A good day.

Eve was amazing. She was selfless, considerate, brave, patient, tough as nails, and gorgeous to boot. She was a very good girl — perfect, actually. The best daughter a parent could have. I'm eternally grateful for the unique opportunity of being her father.
