@RealCaloJones I respect what you’re doing up in Alaska but this is a very out of touch opinion, honestly Shoehorning yourself & family into the hood vs renting and taking an extra 2-5 years of addt’l saving for somewhere decent is not the move $150k is a reasonable target, affordable, safer

Just flew my first jet leg, engine start to shut down, from the left seat. Clean landing and first taxi turnoff as we’d planned, with chief pilot acting as First Officer Feels good 💪 Next order of business is get everything smoother for minimal passenger feel of climb/level/etc

It’s been a long road & ngl I had doubts of completing at times PPL training started in 2008 followed by a scam school walking off with almost 100 student loans PPL finished 2018 IOE started March 1 Now, the dream of being an airline pilot came true this week 👨‍✈️ Feels great!

Just got the PRIA clearance email. So, I guess it’s official! My next uniform will have yellow detailing & base in FLL for the next year 🌴 Time to get back in a jet, but this one will have a side stick and about #48 ,000 more total thrust than the Citation V 🤘
