You can see that the seatbelts are crossed on the remaining seats. An aircraft can depart with inoperative seats providing they are not used and appropriate tech-log entries have been done.

This is an excellent example of the dangers of an engine failure at low speed. Note how the aircraft immediately veers right? That’s because the rudder is not aerodynamically effective yet and the pilots must reduce thrust IMMEDIATELY to keep control of the aircraft. Well done!

The main wheel-well bay of a Boeing 737NG. Aircraft truly are marvels of engineering! Most of the components you see are part of the hydraulic systems. We have system A, system B and the Standby system working together to assure proper redundancy and safe operation.

The preliminary report is now out regarding the AA runway incursion incident at JFK in January. It’s surprising to see that the AA crew is refusing to be interviewed if the interview is being recorded and transcribed Not a great look whatever the reason

A great example of redundancy. The aircraft could land perfectly safe on the remaining nose-wheel. This is how aviation works my friends.

Yesterday in @EINairport . No airport staff available to help us disembark passengers for over 1 hour. No fueler, no baggage handlers for 2 hours Thankfully our passengers were understanding while we did everything we could to help ease the situation💕 frustrating @OnsOranje
