The biggest shock to me in automotive is Toyota’s fall. They invented the hybrid more than 20 years ago. They seemed so far ahead of their time back then. And then they wasted resources on hydrogen and never developed EVs or even a competitive vehicle software package.

@alex_avoigt My 2013 Ford has an aftermarket radio with Garmin GPS and it looks similar to this. It’s slow too. I just use the maps on my iPhone instead. In comparison our Tesla screen looks just like the map on an iPad and it’s fast.

@unusual_whales Interesting that this is the takeaway from the graph. The larger concern is that downward trend showing everyone feeling less connected. I think the recent events since 2020 re-positioned work’s priority in many peoples’ lives
