The last of my chickpeas going to Bendigo Foodshare 10t at 50g/serve is 200,000 serves. A great way to support the people who are doing it tough! Foodshare are looking for more donations if you’re interested. Thanks to Townrow Seed Cleaning for donating their services.
Farming opportunity near Bendigo 450mm Ave rainfall. We have all necessary machinery/equipment and 4br house. Potential to purchase 750ac on terms + lease/sharefarm 800ac + following year another neighbouring 1000ac is available. Immediate start. Ideal start for someone?
Because we’re creatures of habit we need to get creative with our message. what do you think? For $15/ha you control 80% of your weeds that escaped your program. Would we buy it if it came in a drum??
@seed_terminator
My $69.95 driverless high tech tractor. Allis running bag inloader controlled from chaser bin tractor what could possibly go wrong!
@Pontaragrain
@leighjbryan
Well done Teasdales donating 40000+ serves of lentils. What a great way to support the most needy and knowing that your donation gets to the hungry through
@BgoFoodshare
doing a great job
@teasy64
If you’ve got a few tonnes of grain without a home give them a call.
Cross promotion at it again. After 50mm no self sown cereals thanks to the Seed Terminator (header driver has the rotor loss under control) and ready for the WEEDit to smash some broadleaf weeds.😍
Finally after 5 yrs the seeder is finished. it started life as a JD1610 added 1. 2 more rows so 5 rows 2. Hydraulic tynes 3. Replaced lift mechanism and wheels, 4. Modified pull to give level lift 5. Fitted parallelogram seeding boot closing tool press wheel 6. Dual shoot
Bloody ripper rain yesterday and last night 42mm at Campbells Forest and 58 at Serpentine. A little late for some crops to reach full potential but very thankful 🙏🙏 a huge boost!
Ok harvest is done so we’d better get the tractor off the side road where we abandoned it last week. ECU intermittent fault brakes locked on no steering crane onto truck off for a holiday!
I should be a bit happier this is the biggest dry land crop “I’ve” ever grown. First time corn grower. Well “I” didn’t have much to do with it Clinton Powling W&C and PoustieAg’s new stiptill planter worked a treat
Do you reckon I can get the header into the old bin now? Old bins and new headers don't work too well. There are some benefits from rain delays. Hope it works.
Starting to see results of our new wet sowing techniques. Broadcast oats with f spreader not great birds like oats. Airboom canola ok I think? airboom wheat prickle chain and roll ok. what do you think? Since sowing stopped raining only had 3 x 2 mm events 🤬😂 farming
I’m fucking furious about ABC cuts. This is all about scrutiny and politicians of any description hate it. They resist ICAC and cut the ABC. Big business owns most media outlets and they own our politicians so we desperately need the ABC to maintain balance. 🤬🤬
Spot the difference between Seed Terminator and not. Ideal situation for Weedit Dual mode 50% blanket rate will get the selfsown and 100% spot for the larger broadleaf. In dual mode you purposely deactivate sensors to ignore cereal and only hit large weeds

@APPEALtd
We already are the worlds biggest exporter of gas and yet the domestic market pays one of the highest prices for its gas. How do you reconcile this situation Joel. How is getting more gas going to do anything?
Bit of free time waiting for conditions to dry out so Robin got to the workshop to build a new seeder. Eventually got the canola in (on) the ground. I hope it doesn’t get washed away. Pissing down.
A great few days showing off the Chaser and Millennium Boom fitted with WeedIts. How good was Mallee Machinery Field days this year 👏👏👏 off to Cleve next week
They say Fert price rises are due to supply issues and then say they have massive profit??
Price gouging leads to increased profits might be more appropriate headline. Nutrien bolsters profit forecast on surging fertilizer prices
Back at the rain gauge and it’s got water in the base again. 29mm Wheat’s going over and it has even flowered yet what’s it going to do with grain filled heads??
Renovating an old farm house that hasn’t been inhabited since the Turners left in the ‘50s. How lucky are we to have Ray 94yo and Norma giving me a run down on house and farm 👍. Ray was a gun fast bowler bro Herb won 2Ps with Carlton.
Great 130yr anniversary at Longy College this weekend in a time where Ag colleges are closing Longy is booming fantastic positive stories. Congrats to John G and staff hey great to see my old foe OConnors showing great support, as well as CaseIH well done
@PeteHoRsEMcCann
Goodbye cover crop you had a short tough life. Safflower survived but ran to head tillage radish was baked but is starting to grow now too late demolished by bugs early. Summary fail.
At last a spray drone that’s fit for purpose. U7AG 7m boom VTOL 120kph 45L payload and most importantly autonomous fill and battery swap out. Made in Canada by Forward Robotics.
How good is this! The Chaser won award at Eyre Peninsula Field Days. We’ll done Agtronics on a great design, uncompromising height control with both wheeled boom and ultrasonic height control of boom tip. Much shorter transport width and robust design.
Anxiously waiting to see the results of our unconventional seeding techniques of spreading pickle chain and roll. 50% more seed hopefully covers our rs. Prior to sowing forecast 2mm we’d get 20mm since sowing forecast 20 and get 2mm. Never a dull moment 😀
Just found somewhere where I wouldn’t farm Palouse Washington bloody madness working those slopes and 8” annual precipitation so lots of long fallows spot the tractor in my shit photo.
Hey we might get the hang of this retrofit Weedit caper! This one is heading to
@HaeuslerGroup
Mildura. I can’t claim any involvement for the mighty neat fit.
Bit damp daughter’s
@lormsbywilliams
house made a ford to handle excess water to protect the driveway but obviously it’ll be back to the drawing board it needs to be bigger!
Can someone in NSW explain to me how a farmer in Urana can build ANOTHER 2000ML Turkey nest dam that he fills from Billabong creek with no meter attached to the pumps.
@Oscarthefarmer
@Pontaragrain
NSW water allocation
Farmers when you enter a new environment Be careful. The simplest thing is to assume EVERYONE HAS THE VIRUS! R u going to drive that vehicle without cleaning it? BTW we don’t have the 🦠 and we are aiming to keep it that way! Stay safe 👍.
Airboom cart and prickle chain. Was expecting a massive ryegrass problem with prickle chain disturbance but didn’t happen 4 years of seed Terminator 👍.
