Tomorrow 7AM something extraordinary happens. For the first time in 18 months, grain will leave this farm for sale. 550 days of zero income (and very low income in the 365 before that!) is a bit hard for any business, especially cropping when farm management costs remain.

Closing in on 35°C and we are harvesting chickpeas so: ▪︎3700 litres of fire fighting capacity and a 20000 gallon tank with pump in the field. ▪︎regular blow downs ▪︎no smokers on staff Proper preparation prevents piss poor everybody burning to death, as the saying goes
