@milkinbowl
mythicizing is a way to dehumanize. by referring to someone as a monster it’s meant to separate them from “the rest of humanity” when the reality is that the things we think of as exceedingly benevolent and egregiously evil all fall within the range of human behavior.
@desdollas
I wish y’all would stop saying shit like this. What about all the people who die in accidents. Like the girl a couple weeks ago rear ended by that football player - why wasn’t god real for them ? This is how myths persist
@theserfstv
im not one to defend matt walsh but what you’re saying isn’t true based on the video you posted. smearing someone with dishonesty destroys your credibility.

You must have thought I was kidding. I don't entertain ignorant, uneducated, ahistorical opinions about racism from whites people who have vested interest in protecting it. Nothing you say on the topic has any value whatsoever.

there’s nothing more disgusting than when people try to turn the death of other human beings into percentages to make them insignificant.
it’s like greg easterbrook said - if you torture numbers they’ll confess to anything

white people: build an entire country based on racism
white people: benefit from and perpetuate said system
white people: why do they bring race into everything
@cumthulhu
i think they mean jumping to conclusions from allegations …which many did do and should stop doing. i’m not even saying he’s innocent - he could very well be guilty but the point is that you should not jump to conclusions without facts
At the Thurgood Marshall Public Library a predominately black senior population is waiting on average 2 hrs to vote in crowded rooms. This is not safe!

@cumthulhu
there was no shortage of people jumping to conclusions. which is usually the case. it’s not like to condemn anyone. just a reminder of why it’s a bad idea to do that. and again - he could be guilty - we don’t know and it’s ok to admit that
I went on

lol immediately resorting to racism is predictable. And Black people stand against oppression - that includes standing against the formerly oppressed who are now themselves the oppressor
@DCASH_GBTTM
@AVA_268
this was a completely narcissistic response. you thought it was cute but it’s actually disturbing you think this way. this is how narcissists think: i’m perfect so it’s clearly something about them that’s wrong and not me

you’re really gonna sit up here and defend them for giving you less and attack ppl advocating for giving you more? what the fuck is wrong with you people - it’s like you’re in a cult

yes we know slave owners raped slaves and created “illegitimate” children (their term) who were also bought and sold as slaves. how precisely is this an exoneration of anything ?
