So far, 93% of Lost Creek votes to leave the city of Austin. What a fucking message that sends to city council and, most especially, their council woman Paige Ellis. How many other neighborhoods would do the same if they could?

These public meetings would be a lot more valuable if they weren’t totally performative. Wouldn’t it be nice if they actually had to respond to what you say or ask?

The city council’s July 28 meeting has 190+ items on it. Only @_TeddyBrosevelt reads a monster that size. If the city has 190+ items on an agenda, they’re scope has gotten too big and they’re doing too much. Council can’t possibly stay focused on that much junk.

Children need protecting from the likes of you. Mandates and forced masking is not liberty and freedom, and anyone that wants to wear one certainly still can. Come try to mask my children.

State leadership picking fights with local communities that are trying to protect their children through local school board action is not something to be celebrated. I hope that at the end of the litigation -- which isn't yet over -- local liberty and freedom will triumph.

Adler is a member of Mayors for a Guaranteed Income, which advocates for cash payments on top of the existing "social safety net," which they lament doesn't cover ALL needs. Austin is failing at core responsibilities, but go off, I guess. Accelerate into the abyss.

Any Austin media going to ask at the 9AM press conference if maybe Austin Energy should send LESS money to the general fund so they can focus on preventative work and maintain/upgrade infrastructure? @fox7austin @KXAN_News @KVUE @KirkPWatson #AustinEnergy

@MayorAdler What will happen to rent/housing costs when everyone has a free $12k/year through UBI from the City of Austin without cutting other benefits? How about the overall cost of living when $12k is the new $0?

The not so subtle hint is that if you think school choice is the right step on the path to quality education, you must have some unnatural infatuation with other peoples kids. If they’re digging this deep, they must be losing.

Adjusting my prediction. Watson wins by at least 5 points, no more than 10. Those debates did not look good for Israel. If you haven’t voted, go do it, preferably for Watson.

I think this poll is incorrect. My prediction (not endorsement), based on god-knows-what: Israel wins by 3 points. Tell me what you think below👇

A sitting councilwoman gets harassed and threatened twice while at City Hall, and no word from @MayorAdler ? How about the MPT @NatashaD1atx , or any other councilperson? I won't hold my breath waiting for leadership from most of this city council.

The very fine people of Westlake and Rollingwood very likely pay much more in taxes than John does. Just not to the City of Austin in property taxes, and good for them. The resentment of success is palpable. What scum he is.

In 2024, Austin, West Lake Hills and Rollingwood should hold an election whether the tax evading scum of West Lake Hills and Rollingwood should be annexed by Austin. Combine it into a single question to make the G-Wagon driving schmucks think they have a chance.

It’s easy to blame Adler, and he deserves some, but he’s a glorified council member. I was told a story that Casar, Flannigan, and Garza went to Adler and told him that if he doesn’t get with the program, “or else.” I can’t confirm the truth behind it, but I don’t doubt it.

During Steve Adler's mayorship, Austin dropped from #1 to #40 on the U.S. News Best Places to Live list. Not Adler's fault? Somewhat Adler's fault? Mostly Adler's fault?
