State leadership picking fights with local communities that are trying to protect their children through local school board action is not something to be celebrated. I hope that at the end of the litigation -- which isn't yet over -- local liberty and freedom will triumph.

Adler is a member of Mayors for a Guaranteed Income, which advocates for cash payments on top of the existing "social safety net," which they lament doesn't cover ALL needs. Austin is failing at core responsibilities, but go off, I guess. Accelerate into the abyss.

It’s easy to blame Adler, and he deserves some, but he’s a glorified council member. I was told a story that Casar, Flannigan, and Garza went to Adler and told him that if he doesn’t get with the program, “or else.” I can’t confirm the truth behind it, but I don’t doubt it.
