I feel so much sadness over seeing my young cousin grow up. She's only 11, the eldest daughter and was parentified so young. Numerous times she has cried over the pressure she feels to make sure her siblings are all good despite there being adults present.

I've said this before and people got angry, but it's true. In the modern context, it's either misyār/simple low-stakes marriage, or zinā. People used to marry just after puberty only a few generations ago. Now we ask people to wait from age ~14 to ~24. It's unrealistic.
