We mourn the death of Christa Ludwig. 🖤 In Munich she sang Leonore during the reopening week of the National Theatre in 1963. She took her leave from the stage of the BSO on 21 November 1993 as Clytemnestra. "I have sung for 49 years, that is enough," she said at the time.
