We had 12 lads who got offered professional contracts and a lot of us made to the first team and went on to have pretty decent careers thanks to the chance given by Oldham Athletic. Sad times

Remember it well! A very rare right foot goal for me 😳🤣 and I gave away a stonewall penalty in the 120th minute 2-1 down and the ref must’ve took pity on me as he thought the game was over! 10 secs later we equalise and the rest is history!

We thought it was all over! We then beat Stoke 1-0 at home, Paul Beavers?! I think scored, kept us alive, then we beat Reading! Brilliant!
