We always give so much credit to auditors who find large vulnerabilities But we don’t give enough credit to the smart contract engineers that design complex systems without ever having vulnerabilities

The ultimate key to safe protocols isn’t education, good tooling/frameworks, or even lots of audits. It’s based devs. Uniswap V3 and Seaport are some of the most notoriously complex contracts with huge market and haven’t gotten exploited despite only having a couple audits.
