Years ago I was involved with a digital inclusion initiative for poorer kids in Oxford. We found the barrier wasn’t the hardware but the internet contract costs. We stopped supplying laptops and moved to funding broadband subscriptions instead. Can’t help but think about it today

Tonight @KCLWP @EdAid @CitizensUK announced we’re launching a #childcitizenship payment plan to help families secure their kid’s rights. They currently have to pay a Home Office fee of £1012 for their passport & citizenship. Without it young people are blocked from university.

I went on a Sutton Trust Summer School in 2003 (run by @paulteulon @UniofOxford ). A challenging but completely life-changing experience that I still hold close when working with young people today. Thank you @suttontrust .
