We want to give a shoutout to
@solid_js
for being such an awesome frontend framework to develop with. Once you get over the learning curve, it's an extremely rewarding tool. It powers the fast and reactive communication between various tools, such as below with the map and SkewT.
Aguacero version 0.0.6.1 is here with a plethora of bug fixes as well as adding the GEFS/GEPS mean!
Along with this AguaceroWx now supports GEFS and hurricane model Spaghetti plots for active tropical systems in the Atlantic and Pacific basins!
Officially announcing Aguacero v0.0.1. Most of the work over the past few months has been setting up the backend infrastructure to support the operational processing of data. Now at a stable point, our roadmap includes polishing core features and expanding the grid functionality.
AguaceroWx 0.0.6.2 is here! With this comes SKEWT's that are a draggable point instead hovering with your mouse!
For international users we have added deg C for 2m Temp/Dpt and inches for PWAT! Check it out here!
Aguacero version 0.0.3 is here!
Patch notes:
Both city/gridded readouts and wind barbs are their own layers that can be toggled on and off within the layer controls.
Multiple bugs fixed that involved the time slider and bundle grid.
Check your emails! 100 additional people have been accepted into the AguaceroWx beta! Along with major updates to the application that make it all layers, especially wind barbs and readouts, significantly faster. Sign up for the beta here:
The team has been hard at work getting the application ready for launch! We appreciate the hundreds of you who signed up for our beta test!

@aguacerowx
is coming along very well, putting the finishing touches on things prior to a release. Here's a look at some parameters outlining the severe threat today.
Another batch of variables have come to Aguacero as winter marches closer! 1 Hour snowfall rates and modeled, snow to liquid ratio for the HRRR and RAP! Available now at
Just recently started using the beta version of the

app.
While it's still quite buggy, I have little doubt that this tool is going to completely revolutionize how we'll view & analyze online weather model data in the future.
The capability to customize a plot almost
Latest GFS Model Run wanting a Tropical Storm/Hurricane going straight for Hawaii. Would be the first in a long time if it makes landfall on the big island. (yes, i don’t typically cover the pacific but i have followers in hawaii so i had to let them know)
Over the past month, the team has been working on completely overhauling the user interface of the application while adding a multitude of new features. We are hoping to get our biggest update yet out next week and with that comes many new users into the beta!
If you haven't yet, remember to signup for the
@aguacerowx
beta waitlist! Users will begin getting accepted into the waitlist within the next couple of days!

Some have just gotten accepted into the waitlist! Over the coming weeks we hope to accept all 300+ people as we continue to iron out bugs and add features.
Reminder to signup for the beta here! As of right now we only have ~10 people accepted, but we plan on slowly letting more people use it in the next few weeks!
Make sure to check your email to see if you were accepted into the beta version of AguaceroWx! We accepted a hundred people today! We anticipate accepting all 600+ people into the beta within 1-2 weeks!
The feedback we have gotten from the first round of beta testers has been absolutely incredible!
We are hoping to push out updates addressing bugs and issues every week/few days. With each round of fixes allowing more people in from the waitlist.
As we continue the process of moving over to a new data processing system, expect significant data loss until further notice. Thank you all for your patience!
So many new variables have become available on Aguacero the past few days! Including IR Satellite, Wet bulb temperature, Energy Helicity Index, and Supercell Composite!
Check out all these new variables here:
The team is hopeful that users will slowly be granted access to the beta version of Aguacero over the next week or so.
When accepted, you will get an email allowing you to create an account to use the application!

As we continue to make optimizations to the database and backend processing, it is possible that some data will be delayed or missing. We will update when this is resolved!
After the 0.0.4 update goes live, our plan is to slowly but steadily accept all 600+ people from the waitlist into the beta and then open it up for all to use within a few weeks. We are trying our best to get ready to provide the best user experience possible.
We are currently experiencing extreme demand right now. Things are a bit slow and laggy right now but we are working on scaling up our services right now please be patient!
Aguacero is down for the time being as we are working on doing some server and database maintenance/optimizations. Apologies for the inconvenience and we will update when things are back up and running!
Version 0.0.2 is live with many quality of life fixes and plenty of major bug updates! We also accepted another 25 people into the beta!
See the patch notes here!
AguaceroWx has hit 500 registered users in less than ONE WEEK since launch! 🥳🎉🥳🎉
Thank you so much to everyone that has given us a try! And if you haven’t registered yet, make sure to register at

Overall, we are still just working on some bug fixes/finishing touches to make the application easy and seamless to use.
The core of the first round of features are all complete.
Data has been fully restored. We made some major changes to our backend database that led to dataflow issues but those have been fully resolved! You should now see all model runs coming in on time!
AguaceroWx has created a discord where users can post feature requests, bugs, or show off their own custom bundles/boards!

A price has yet to be determined, but we plan on accepting many more people into the beta in the coming weeks from our waitlist, then opening it up to everyone for free in a few weeks if all goes well.
NHC is showing there is a chance for tropical development in the Gulf of Mexico later this week. Both the ECMWF-AIFS (left) and GFS (right) are showing development during this timeframe.
We have also added multiple unique variables from the SPC mesoanalysis page for the HRRR and RAP. Lowest 100mb mean mixing ratio! Surface moisture convergence to name a few!

@Soar_WX
Technically we are available on mobile but we don’t advise using it on mobile as the application is not yet optimized. We currently work best on PC!
@TwiistedTr33_
Yes you can still signup to use the beta, however we are not actively accepting people as this time. Likely within the next few days/week or so.
@WXTriad
Possibly both NAM's/NBM. Outside from that, the only models we have ready to go are the GEFS/GEPS. We have yet to include the infrastructure for the ECMWF/EPS
