no but crowley being a high-ranking angel does in fact make thematic sense in the dynamic of aziracrow… in the third episode there’s a theological debate taken straight from the book about possibilities and the starting point: aziraphale and crowley didn’t start as equals (+)
anyone else remember that fic where crowley got separated into his angelic and demonic essence and he got jealous because he thought aziraphale liked him more as an angel… yeah
can’t work rn i need to be at home rewatching the last ten minutes to verify if aziraphale is indeed the victim of mind manipulation or if he’s just the victim of 6000 years of gaslighting and abuse
okay. you got me. i am now a full believer of the swap theory. i said a million times that changing the ending of s1 must’ve been because the swap was important for the sequel neil and terry planned
It's the clock!!!! Someone mentioned how it's so quiet you can hear it ticking and my brain went off--
When they're talking, the clock is at approximately 9:25, then they walk across the room and kiss, and immediately after the clock is set about 15 minutes later!!

I *think* you’ll know this narrator – reply with your guess. Tomorrow, we’ll announce all the narrators of A Stroke of the Pen. Who else do you think might be involved? You can pre-order the audiobook here:
they’re really driving the point of heaven being the abusive ex with that finale huh. like it’s so clearly a parallel of nina and lindsay. aziraphale can’t be with crowley because he hasn’t healed from the trauma heaven has inflicted on him
“many people, meeting aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was english, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide”
“fanfiction is quite…”
david tennant: “oh i see, but thats not for us to read”
michael sheen: “oh i read it all. i write most of it”

GUYS:
@ineffablefoxy
noticed that Aziraphale almost says ‘I love you’ here before he says ‘I forgive you’… he is so shaken up that he can’t get it out………..FUCK
me showing this movie to my friends to tell them how hot he looks meanwhile they’re horrified i willingly watch a movie where he’s tortured for like two hours
oh you’re an aziraphale kinnie? how are all those books you bought but never read? how’s that rewatch of pride&prejudice going? still not over that sexuality crisis? are you really still trying to please your family?
Oh? You’re a Crowley kinnie? When are you going to replace that leather jacket? How’s that guitar doing in the corner of your room that you don’t use? How are those parental issues? You sleeping too much again? Do you remember what it was like to not feel like an open wound?
i don’t think the decision aziraphale took is out of character at all. but also, we KNOW heaven doesn’t have any problems messing with the minds of their angels, so it would make sense that the metatron gave aziraphale the coffee with something that would make him easier to take
what do you want to see aziraphale and crowley do in the south downs cottage in s3? i’d love a scene of crowley sleeping and aziraphale reading a book next to him 😭😭😭
the fact that the two human couples that mirror aziracrow both referred to each other as ‘friend’ and neither of them ends up together… wee morag literally going to heaven and nina being emotionally unavailable because of her previous toxic relationship…
their possibilities were different. aziraphale was younger and crowley had power and status which probably shaped his relationship with god and his need to ask questions. they are equals by choice, but crowley starts the story with “more freedom” than aziraphale (+)
