This weekend, I lost to unluckiness, my opponents’ greed, and my embarrassing inability to respect Grand Abolisher. Everyone I played with was a wonderful role model for what sportsmanship should look like. While this is not my experience every event, it’s why I keep coming back.

EDH has 𝘴𝘰 much downtime. Waiting for 3 players to play their shit can not only be mentally exhausting, but can disrupt game-winning strings of thought. Krark/Saka multiplies that disruption by about…6,000. For each copy of Krark.

I do not lie or exaggerate when I say that Krark/Saka is the most uniquely psychologically draining deck to play against. Turns out recurring disruptive spells over and over and over again is a helluva way to break spirits, lol. (Still lost a bunch tonight though!)
