After a flawless 150 swap cube, I've increased the Z speed to 150mm/s (stock LDO 2.4 motors). Looks like the approximate tool change is about 10 seconds now.

Debate: should this waste be considered "part of the print"? I'm well aware the purge is essentially trash, but the resulting print was only possible because of it. No one seems to want the waste, but everyone wants a beautiful multi color print.

Final weigh-in: 1007 g filament poop, 202 g purge tower and 489 g of print. That makes 1209 g of waste VS 489 g print, or a ratio 2.5/1 which is quite wasteful!

The quest to find where the extrusion issues are in the @Creality3dP K1C leads back to... the extruder. This is probably the worst design I've seen for an extruder, when filament is inserted, it causes the nylon gears to mesh at an angle and bind. Filament movement with just the

Wiring on a printer can be a nightmare. @LDOMOTORSJASON kits are some of the most inclusive, easiest, and well documented in terms of wiring. Electronics bay for the Voron toolchanger (Tapchanger/StealthChanger), in progress. Might change some stuff around for the 6 CAN toolhead

Best thing to do when testing a new 3D printer is to print a large stress test overnight? Well it looks like the @Sovol3d SV08 was able to handle it well! This is with the stock Orca profile provided with it. More tuning to come. Printing a Support Free Milk Crate by LayerOne3D

Not a cooling or flow issue! It's the wall loop direction, it was set to "Auto", I manually selected "Clockwise" and the issue went away. Something interesting for @fever_soft to look into potentially.

Should you put an @E3DOnline revo on your voron? Yes, yes you should. Plenty of performance for reasonable print speeds and very high quality. The @LDOMOTORSJASON Orbiter V2 does play a large factor though. Look at that @Polymaker_3D Starlight PLA! Can you guess the color?

Very impressed with the @Sovol3d SV06 when it comes to speed. Running at 10k accel, 20 SQV with klipper and input shaper. Higher flow as well so it's able to actually print at these speeds. More tuning to come! (and better fans)

Safety PSA for the @BambulabGlobal A1 cable situation. If you printed the strain relief fix, there's a high change that it's going to cause more damage than not installing. Remember that PLA is quite flammable too. Images from the A1 owners Facebook group. Bambu's official

I 3D printed the Hex Ukulele from @printablescom ! Very fun project with 100% printed parts (minus strings). @Polymaker_3D Starlight + Galaxy PLA was used with PETG for the screws. Yes, it does work, however I have not learned how to play. Printed live on @MakerDeck #hotmakes

HULA Anti-Vibration Foot is now available for download on MakerWorld. It decouples the printer from the table and dampens the horizontal XY forces generated by the toolhead/bed, preventing the printer from wobbling.

That's right, @E3DOnline Revo on a @BambulabGlobal X1C using the new @BIQU_3Dprinter Panda Revo hotend. This is technically not a supported setup out of the box but I essentially swapped the Revo connectors for the X1 style connector. Pictured is a 0.6mm Revo HF with 60w heater
