From 2015 to 2019 Root was a better white ball player than a red ball player. Now people don't even consider him a white ball player anymore. Lost his form in white ball cricket after Covid and never got a chance to regain his form because of England's messed up schedule.

Pitches play a big role. Because whether it's completely flat or unplayable. Never a good match up between bat and ball. Then the stadiums aren't good enough for fans to stay a whole day as well. Nothing is allowed inside and the services inside aren't good either.
