@jayhuntar Yep. Decentralization is not necessarily the outcome. @punk6529 writes about this a lot, how the Metaverse will be owned by Big Tech (just like the internet today) unless web3 gets big enough quick enough

When someone asks "are we still early?" I answer: • Almost 0 mobile support • Almost no way to use crypto without having to worry about the tech • No apps have had mass adoption. Best we had was dog coins. • NFT market cap even at peak was only 10-20B Long road ahead still
