I’m a Pell Grant recipient and worked up to 4 jobs at a time throughout school. For the first few years I didn’t have a car and was working campus jobs for ~$7.65/hr. I went to a public school for undergrad & law school on merit and need-based scholarships. I still have debt.

Absolutely heartbroken. The RSVP Center staff is the reason I continued at Mizzou throughout my junior and senior year, and was able to continue as a law student. Mizzou staff make Mizzou. The impact of the centers cannot be overstated enough - the staff make those spaces.

I went to my last home game as a student today! My senior year of HS I was debating between Mizzou and another state school, and both had bowl games on the same day. Naturally, I told my dad, “Whoever wins, that’s where I’m going.” In 2014 Mizzou won their bowl game.

#1 : Basic, and true—The Columns. I remember my campus tour, walking past the columns for the very first time and looking at my dad with the biggest smile on my face. He said, “Yup, this is the one.” Touring on a 75 degree day did not prepare me for winter... she still cute tho

My grandfather was the first in our family to receive an education past high school. He went to trade school and became a barber. My dad did the same. They worked their boots off doing every side job in the book so one day they could see their last name on my diploma. (1/3)
