Having to move to keep your job is really no big deal. Unless you’re supposed to move to Jefferson City. Then it’s pretty inconvenient I hear.

I assume this is a parody, right? DC bureaucrats aren’t actually saying out loud that moving to Missouri is ... punishment, are they? Because surely nobody could be that condescending & elitist.

Is he talking about the pandemic of marijuana use? Government draws the line between regulation and personal responsibility every day. If we all take personal responsibility, we don’t need gov’t regulation. Example, in Mo. Buying car insurance is not up to personal responsibility

Sen. John Cornyn: "There are two ways to approach this pandemic. One is to leave it to government to tell us what we can and cannot do... Or we can take personal responsibility."

Most local law enforcement is paid with property tax. Interesting “defund the police” position here.

I’ve been saving into my 401k plan every month since I got a 28k a year job as an assistant attorney general. Have lost over 25% of it this year. SEC should investigate the hell out of DC insiders who sold right before this crash—D or R.

Might need to get an better court reporter. I’ve read it all the way through (although quickly) and the reporter didn’t record Eric Schmitt asking one single question, even though he is reflected as sitting there.

Today’s free legal advice: When involved in a criminal investigation, do not text another witness (who contradicts your testimony) “prepare to die.” This could be viewed by law enforcement as witness tampering.

Mo. Court of Appeals agrees that the legislature’s ballot title summary of Amendment 3 was “false.” Also says Amendment 3 would “apparently permit a very heavy partisan bias in redistricting plans.”
