These elites — who fly around on private jets lecturing working families about the “climate crisis” & that rising gas prices are just part of the “transition” — need to be ousted from every level of government.
7-0 ruling from the Mo Supreme Court makes the following clear: 1) voters expanded the group eligible for Medicaid 2) there is money in the budget to pay for their healthcare 3) the State must enroll them. The details of the injunction are left to the trial court( that’s normal).
If you opposed black community leaders blocking traffic to protest killings, you should oppose white truck drivers blocking traffic to protest vaccines.
So if local, elected school boards can’t make decisions on health and safety of students while at school and can’t decide what curriculum is appropriate in their community, what exactly are they supposed to do?
Why is it that when there is a drag show, or gender care somewhere in Missouri, the politicians demand immediate action. But when there’s gun violence they say it’s not the time to politicize the issue?

In the Medicaid expansion case, Judge Beetem just now entered Judgment in favor of Plaintiffs (as the SCOMO instructed). He also issued an immediate injunction prohibiting the state from denying enrollment to the expanded population or treating them differently.
Random thought: Missouri law (167.191 RSMo) specifically allows school boards, and even teachers, to order children examined by a physician and/or to send them home (quarantine) if they are liable to transmit an infectious disease.

A Jackson county court has ordered Attorney General Bailey to personally sit for a deposition. I believe it’s been 30+ years since that happened. Order is a result of allegations Bailey violated the rules of ethics.
Don’t forget about Missouri’s new “no excuse” absentee balloting. Starting next Tuesday (Oct. 25) you can vote in person for any reason or no reason at a polling place designated by your local authority. In most counties, that will be the Clerk’s office. Call them for info.
U.S. Sen. Roy Blunt is one of the 10 Republicans signing onto this deal, per news release. Gives it 60 votes if no one defects - enough to clear filibuster.

Day 1 = epic fail for House managers. Used 13 hrs to grandstand, repeatedly taking rebuttal time just to delay. Attacked senators. Alienated their audience. Admonished by the Chief Justice for unprofessionalism. If this is best they can do, should just stop now
Cool. Cool. So we are waiving statutes. How about that one that won’t let you count a mail in ballot postmarked before Election Day but received after?
Sec. Ashcroft has just received notice from

Today, as a result of a federal lawsuit, you can mail your “mail-in ballot” or you (or a relative) can drop it off at your local election official.
@MissouriSOS
trying to make it so that you can no longer drop it off in person.
The Left & the blue check marks don’t understand this - the people are tired of being lied to by politicians hell bent on control & public health bureaucrats who’ve lost credibility by playing politics.
The people have had enough & I’m fighting for them.
Seeing a lot of LSAT discussion in my timeline. I have no idea what I got on my LSAT. Haven’t thought about—and no one has asked me—since I got admitted to law school.

I have never heard of this. AG job is to uphold jury verdicts, not overturn them.
Missouri AG seeks to throw out KCPD cop’s conviction in Black man’s killing, Baker says

is smart not to vote a provisional. If you have the time to come back and vote a real ballot, that is your best bet. A lot of provisionals don’t get counted.

This is true. Probably why we invented this new-fangled thing called the Judiciary to make sure they can’t do it at will. Its a pretty interesting concept worth reading up on.
JUST IN: St. Louis attorneys Mark and Patricia McCloskey release a statement, through an attorney, saying they support Black Lives Matter and they acted lawfully on their property. The couple, through their attorney, says "the agitators responsible for the trepidation were white"
So this is wrong. Missouri law prohibits funding of abortions and that did not change. This was about physician visits and birth control. State pays all sorts of providers for that and can’t exclude PP said a 6-1 Mo Supreme Court.
