Been putting off posting this but had to say goodbye to The Tiny One this morning. Isabella was our longest lived dog at 14 years 1 month. She had suffered seizures over last 5 years & struggled to recover from a fall last Monday. My heart is so heavy tonight. 😔💔

Fully vaxxed 4/21 & ready for booster (w/Drs approval) next month. I feel great; didn’t have any adverse reactions & barely had sore arm. Moral of this story? People my age (60+) are still dying at higher rate than others. Get vaxxed for yourself & more importantly loved ones.❤️

Almost 6 years retired (in Mar) started coloring hair myself, then 2 years ago I started to go ‘natural’ but still highlighted. Why? I’m ok looking my age 65 don’t want to look ridiculous like Pelosi & Susan Collins. No offense ladies but grey hair isn’t fatal. 🧖🏽‍♀️

It’s with 💔that I must report COVID has claimed dear friend of mine. For about 17 years I did Wednesday’s Child reports @wfaa -for about third of those years-Jackie Baird was my liaison w/Child Protective Services as we tried to find adoptive homes for kids in foster care. RIP😔

Since word got out about the quorum break, folks have asked whether or not I brought Lark. The answer is yes. It won’t be easy, especially since her dad has to stay in Texas to pay the bills, but with childcare concerns and the length of the trip, it was the right call for us.

Those of you who know me-know that for 17 years+ part of my job @wfaa was to profile children looking for adoptive homes. Couple of days ago I heard from one who is now 38 year old mom & grandmother. It wasn’t EVER just job to me it became my calling. L❤️VE trumps HATE.

I saw a report (but only one) that the murder victims were here legally. I just saw TV interview w/the county sheriff who told the reporter he didn’t care where they were from. It’s his job to protect all people in his county. Good for him!
