Let's walk through all the the major pieces of putting ... the grip I think is one of the most important things, especially for beginning golfers. I'll go over the tendency for a lot of golfers is to hold it kind of like a full swing, and why you don't want to be one of them.
I'm still letting that club whip on through or snap through, but it's not a slap. I'm letting that happen in front of the golf ball, and my club is just kind of trailing along behind. The golf ball is just getting in the way. I'm releasing out in front and that impact is just
Here's a fantastic way to feel that "snap" of power you create by releasing it out in front and includes the key to making sure you're putting yourself in the correct position to be able to do it!

If I open up my hips, my shoulders want to open up and my club lags behind, and now I can release the club out in front, then It's very easy to keep the left arm straight.
Issues you're having with your swing could be helped by something as simple as the way you grip the club... changing the angle of your hand as you grip the club is the key to having a "short thumb" grip...and it can help with many issues such as the club slipping as you
Get that nice wide, powerful stance. Tuck your elbow in, and then from there feel like you're releasing the club all the way. For me, I feel like I'm throwing it. I'm letting that right hand just turn on over as I'm coming through the shot.
I'll see players set up to the ball with their shoulders very level...and if you're doing that it could be the issue you've had if you've been trying to swing from the inside...

The hands should work back up and in...as the club is swinging down, even though the club is swinging from the inside. Most players try to hit out more end up pushing the club, which is not very efficient.
Most of the time players are releasing directly at the golf ball, standing up and flipping through contact. Stretch these muscles out late and then throw them in front to get the club to whip through contact and get a lot of speed

If I was to ask a hundred golfers, when does the downswing start, they would pretty much all say, well, my body hands, arms club, go in the back swing direction, and then body hands, arms, club go in the downswing direction.
Well, in reality, that's not

Let's dive into one of the most common misconceptions when it comes to setup . For those who are a bit more technically inclined, we often think about setting up everything square to our target line. We want our feet, hips, shoulders to be in perfect alignment. Let's debunk that!
This is a drill where you need to stand up grab a club right now. Start working along with these. You can do these in the comfort of your living room. That way when you get out to the course, you're going to be so much farther ahead.
Maximize your hip rotation and achieve a smooth swing! Drive your left leg into the ground, lifting your hip, shoulder, and hands upward, resulting in a shallow divot.
Master this move for a more controlled and consistent swing. Improve your game!
If you feel like you're going to hit it square, and 90% of the time it's either fading or slicing, this is really going to help you...

🔥 Crush your iron shots with this simple drill! Square the face by releasing the shaft and rotating your hands. Practice the two-step drill: rotate down, pause at impact with a square face. Feel the clean contact and enjoy better shots! ⛳️💥
So many times I'll see players taking a shoulder width, wide stance. What I like to have is the in-step on the outside of my shoulder. I would test this to see what's the most powerful swing for you.
So we're going right hip high. Sinking to the ground left hip hop. And when you have that club, just make it all one fluid motion as you're coming on through there.
One way to fix that over the top motion at the start of the downswing is an exercise where you stand about 1.5 ft away from a wall with a golf club, swing the club back, and as you start the downswing, let the club drop on the wall and keep it on the wall as you rotate open.
One helpful tip Trevino used to talk about to get that feeling of extension is to imagine that the ball sticks to the clubface and you're reaching way wide through the shot, with really long arms.
