@KyleWOrton People who are "pro-Palestinian" but say erase Israelis or support Assad never truly support peace. I hate that these people have such a loud voice. Peace will only be achieved when the corrupt officials and those who seek war are thrown out of power (1st step)

2 friends of mine, both Iraqis (born and raised), told me they see Iraq merely as an extension of Iran. No patriotism, no definite Iraqi identity, Sunnis forced to the sidelines by Shiite extremism - as they were before Daish's rise (and which led to Daish's rise).

Very scary how the West allowed #Iraq to fall prey to the Iranian regime and it's jihadists. - The militias demand protection money of $1,000 to $3,000 monthly on larger restaurants. Owners who fail to pay could have their restaurants blown up...

In a parallel universe. We all too well know who launched this war in 2014 against a sovereign country at the very center of Europe, and who may attempt to start again. High time to fight back. This kind of threat is a well-known part of the Kremlin's narrative. #StandWithUkraine

Who is? Assad? We know. He has a cosy relationship not doing anything v #Israel , just as his father did - pulling out of the #Golan offensive + betraying #Egypt in the 73 war. The Assad's have no yearn to do anything to disrupt the peace they have had with Israel for decades.

I condemn what happened in Afrin, but just an FYI the YPG (PKK in Syria) didn't protect Kurds either. Kurds who protested v YPG were imprisoned and killed as they didn't fall inline with the idea of carving the Syrian borders + YPG aided the regime in killing the ppl of Haleb

By which I mean, if they see there's more opportunity to inflict damage on Israel they - Hezbullah - would be willing to intervene. If the war in Gaza goes against Hamas, it would potentially sway Hezbullah to not intervene as there is no prime opportunity..
