Great work from my team today - quickly on scene to a cardiac arrest. Early defib, good management of CPR with an igel/O2 resulting in ROSC and strong radial pulse. Patient soon breathing unassisted. Don't practise until you get it right, practice until you can't do it wrong.

Learn how to use your kit, if you haven't had to get a bit of kit out for a while practice and make sure you are confident. Don't rely on 'I should be alright on the day'. A lack of confidence leads to errors, time lost and poor treatment. Do the basics well.

#traumatuesdays - getting fast access to bleeding/wound sites is paramount. A lot of our casualties dealt with are stabbing/shooting victims so getting them 'trauma naked' is a must. Tough cut scissors/raptors are invaluable to assist that, wouldn't be without my pair at work.
