Tesla have made changes to the steering wheel hands-on detection algorithm in 2022.40 — this means that people who use steering wheel "boosters" to use AP without keeping a hand on the wheel can no longer effectively use such devices to keep Autopilot active.
Here's a clear look at how the new Sentry light changes look at night with the 2023.2 update. The owner said the rear lights don't illuminate (they previously flashed with the front).

We're happy to report that 2023.6.9 is rolling out in multiple countries and Vision-based Park Assist is available internationally (previously, the updated Autopark was only available in the US at first).
Our favourite part of the 2023 Tesla Holiday Update (2023.44.30) is definitely the dashcam improvements.
The whole experience is now smoother and responsive. The viewer loads immediately and scrubbing through footage is now seamless with none of the previous skipping around.
Thanks for bearing with us everyone, our servers have been massively upgraded and we thank you all for the support as seen by the huge influx of visitors.
FSD Beta V11.3 release notes are available and this update appears to include the recall fix.
@Tesla
Communication with countries outside of the US and Canada with regards to FSD and Autopilot related things. Even if there is no good news. Most owners would appreciate some updates on the status of FSD Beta and Autopilot in the EMEA.
Looks like 2022.44.11 includes the new vision autopark for USS-less cars:
Tesla Vision Park Assist provides visual and audio alerts of surrounding objects. This feature uses the occupancy network to predict high-definition outlines of objects 360 degrees around the car.
Tesla update 2023.2.12 is currently installed on 5,216 cars (23.71%) of the unified fleet and is pending on 3,433 cars as of now. This update is being rapidly pushed out to vehicles - so far 2,851 today.
More statistics using data from 21,999 cars:
Undocumented change in 2022.28:
With the addition of minimising theater mode; the climate, volume and brightness controls have been removed in favour of a simple “Swipe down to close” bar. The battery icon has also been redesigned with a new charging status icon.

An owner who received a Model Y without ultrasonic sensors from Shanghai said it has come with the wiring harness for USS, and still shows them in the service menu.
They believe that Tesla might be experiencing a shortage of sensors which is why the early move was made.
2022.40.4.1 is now installed on 10,918 cars and pending on 702 cars in 50 countries based on fleet data. This is the biggest number of vehicles we've seen on the same version.
It looks like Tesla is wanting everyone on 2022.40, possibly for FSD Beta V11 or to improve parity.
Updates 2023.2.10 and 2023.2.11 are now pending on 968 cars and 1,135 cars respectively and appear to be rolling out together - we aren't sure why though. This makes up 42.19% of the connected fleet whilst the majority are still running a 2022.44 version.
Giveaway: We're nearly at 3,000 followers and as a thank you, we're once again doing a giveaway!
Retweet this tweet for a chance to win $30. Two winners will be selected. This giveaway will close on the 30th of December 2022.
T&Cs apply.
Unlike the 2021 Holiday Update, the 2022 Holiday Update (2022.44.25.1) is rolling out slower and is currently only installed on 10% of the fleet.
2022.44.2 is still rolling out and pending on more vehicles so if you haven't received the Holiday Update yet, you aren't alone!
@elonmusk
Elon, any word on FSD Beta Europe (and UK)? We've not heard anything since your appearance at Giga Berlin and keen to know what the situation is.
A Tesla service representative has told an owner that the next version of FSD Beta will be on 2023.2 when they were enquiring about a software glitch which wipes your user preferences on the vehicle on older versions. The bug was fixed in 2023.2.
↓
Tesla seems to be making a more proactive approach to correcting the media.
First of all was the California impact, followed by the termination of Union-forming employees and now the Engineering HQ. Let's hope this continues.
@elonmusk
@Tesla
We're seeing increasing reports from FSD Beta owners that they're being pushed a standard version of 2023.2, thereby losing them the ability to use FSD Beta.
Not sure if this is accidental or intentional but Tesla did say that current testers won't lose access to beta. Odd...
New assets and strings found in the latest app update hint towards letting you view the internal camera whilst using the Live Sentry View function in the app.
This may be related to the "Sentry & Dog Mode" addition in a recent update. This will let you keep an eye on your pets.
Very interesting to see how FSD Beta renders the highways. The on-ramp is pretty well defined given that standard NoA didn't render them nearly as clearly/defined.
Can't wait to see how it looks when the highway is full of traffic with cars coming on and merging too! 👀
Here is the new Vision-based Park Assist in action. Looks smooth.
Let us know how accurate it is and what your thoughts are on this approach vs the traditional sensor approach.
Tesla FSD Beta v11.3.5 (2022.45.14) is now rolling out to testers with and without USS. It's currently installed on 73 cars in 3 countries and pending on 47 cars. Release notes and statistics ↓
Tesla service have told a MCU1 owner with FSD Capability (HW3) that a build of FSD Beta for MCU1 cars is coming within the next 2 months.
Will be interesting to see if this does happen, but we are remaining skeptical.

@elonmusk
Any updates on FSD Beta Europe (and UK)? We know that you said you'd be looking to present something to regulators at the end of the year and we're only a month away 🤞
Thank you for 5,000 followers. We're extremely proud to have reached this milestone in the year we've been posting and appreciate every one of you who has supported us and helped us grow.
We're in the UK and this video sums up our thoughts too. At minimum an indication of any sort of estimate or timeline would be greatly appreciated. We know
@elonmusk
said Norway would be next, but still no updates on any international release is getting more painful by the day.
2022.40.4.1 is now installed on approximately 8,096 cars in 41 countries and pending on 3,305 cars according to fleet data from third party services.
It is being aggressively rolled out and is being installed on around 1,500~ cars per day on average.
@SawyerMerritt
Nope, I believe everyone that was saying FSD took over and the driver couldn't stop the car as that's clearly the most logical conclusion.
Tesla Update 2022.24.6 release notes are now available and now brings Tesla Vision to radar-equipped vehicles. This change was first seen in the mystery 2022.20.9 release which was only pushed out to a small number of cars.
A transporter carrying 7 EVs caught fire in the UK today, and the BBC reported on this but didn't mention the brand of EVs anywhere in the headline or article.
If it were Teslas, you can guarantee it would be in the headline and in the article.

FSD Beta 11.4 (Version 2023.6.15) is now rolling out internally. There hasn't been any installs on any public vehicles yet but you'll be able to track the rollout here:

@WholeMarsBlog
It's been 9 months since you said that FSD Beta should be coming to Europe in Summer 2022 depending on regulatory approval. Summer is over, and we're at the end of 2022 with no movement on the regulatory side.
Any updates
@elonmusk
?
For non-beta vehicles, Tesla has just pushed 2022.28.1 and 2022.28.2 to a significant portion of the global fleet.
Both updates show hundreds of pending installations within the last hour.
In 2022.40, there are now multiple tips in addition to the "Try Autopilot" one we saw a few updates ago. It seems
@Tesla
is pushing to make users more familiar with what features their car has and is capable of.
This includes trying Live Sentry and Light Shows seen below.
Further to this, when you’re charging up to 100% — the car now stops at 99% and says “Calibrating” during calibration rather than going to 100% and saying “Calculating…”
Thanks to
@roslan3d
for helping us confirm this.
Undocumented change in 2022.28:
Tesla has updated the "FSD Visualisation" view to feature a pure black background when in dark mode. Before and after photos below. The background colour use to match the colour of the media player. Feel free to share images with credit/link.
We've heard from one of our sources that 2022.24 contains bug fixes for European owners with Speed Assist. The feature has been updated to fix some issues where the car reverts to map data and doesn't automatically limit Autosteer speed.
Pending confirmation.
Officially verified accounts (with the golden tick) now have square profile pictures. Legacy verified, Blue and standard accounts have circular profile pictures.

[The issue was due to a software bug that has already received a fix on Firmware 2023.2. For vehicles that are enrolled in Beta, the software release works differently as our team send packages out at a slower rate. This being said, Beta users will be on 2023.2 with the update.]
2021.44.30.6 is rolling out now.
Unfortunately we’ve been seeing reports that the heat pump issues haven’t been fixed. We’ll confirm this as we hear from more owners.

As per the Tesla Recall press/support document release, people waiting for a FSD Beta build ("in the queue") will not receive it until the update that contains the fix (expected to be a 2023.2 version) has been released.
Continued below ↓
Update 2023.6.8 is still predominantly rolling out compared to 2023.6.9, which is installed on 1,310 cars in 25 countries and pending on 125 cars.
The latest FSD Beta (v11.3.4) is currently installed on 578 cars and pending on 780 cars.
@kylecoolky
There's no confirmation yet but there's a load of owners reporting this on forums and groups since getting 2022.40 — it's likely that Tesla is checking for fluctuations in the torque applied, the weight will be consistent compared to a human hand. They can track micro adjustments

We don't think we've ever seen so many concurrent releases. The majority of owners are still on 2022.20.8!
Sleek & sexy. Love this approach. Still such a shame the US didn't set a charging port standard early on like the EU.
But, the EU chose Type-2, and CCS2 for DC which is a hideous huge ugly connector.
NACS should be standard in the US.

Price is higher for non-Teslas, unless they pay monthly for a subscription (~$10.99) which allows them to charge at the Tesla price.
Did you spot the split camera view which includes a top down view of the side of the truck? Interesting stuff, we can't wait to see what else the software can do.

We've updated the site and it now defaults to Dark Mode. Light mode is still available and doesn't require a Tesla Updates account to switch and retain your preference.
Sentry & Dog Mode are coming to more countries very soon. Tesla's new updated manuals for 2022.40 in European countries reference the feature which wasn't made available in Europe when it launched in North America, Korea, Israel and Brazil.
Tesla have halted the rollout of 2022.44.25.1 and have replaced it with 2022.44.25.2 after owners have been experiencing bugs with the initial holiday update release.
It is currently rolling out widely worldwide. No release note changes.
