I fail to understand why AIIMS was established in Mangalagiri. Both Rayalaseema and Telangana had upper tertiary centres NIMS and SVIMS. Vijayawada Guntur each have one govt medical college. BUT Entire visakhapatnam is surviving with a single medical college, KGH.

Great response. But mostly wrong. Pulli is the earliest known ruler of Venkatachalam region. He is a tribal cheiftain and a 'Vadukar' as mentioned in the Sangam literature. Do you know Sangam Poems mention that these Vadukars were fond of Tamarind rice, consumed in teak leaves.
