The protestors who shut down the port of Oakland were led by AROC, a nonprofit contractor to SFO public schools that helped NYC parent councils organize student walkouts late last year. AROC had support from local union members and the Oakland DSA.

@YanzhongHuang @MaryGao Given the extreme CovidZero actions by the CCP in Shanghai - faceless men in hazmat suits drag people away to quarantine camps while caging others in their own buildings; prohibiting food deliveries; killing pets in front of their owners - this is way beyond Covid at this point

@yuhline Idealism and utopianism is not practical policy. Considerate, law abiding ppl like me should be able to walk the streets of NYC without concern over hostile interactions with strangers or dodging ebikes. Kinda like it was before bail reform and the Dem/Socialist supermajority.

@jlebrech @DavidWolfe You are right. But funny how those passports remained intact so they could be "discovered" by someone, isn't it? Massive conflagration from jet fuel brings down multiple buildings, but a paper passport of a terrorist is conveniently found on the street?

Got into a little spat with progressive dem @yuhline today. She said I don't understand anything about public safety and that I'm part of "conservative Twitter" - whatever that is. Unsatisfied, she then basically called me a Nazi and we left it at that.

@ViralNewsNYC At a park on 29th st, I spotted a man I know who lives at Bellevue Men's shelter walking away from a heated exchange with two recent migrants who also live there. The reason: they were trying to recruit him into joining their shoplifting ring and he took exception.
