I submitted 35 runs over seven years to AGDQ and SGDQ before run #36 was accepted! I was thrilled and grateful for it, but not everyone has 7 years of their life to devote to practice Speedrunning. I do hope more non-men are accepted going forward.

Your speedruns are valid, and you don’t need anyone’s permission to run or submit them to events. If you have a “hot take” about someone’s category, run, time, and/or game, it’s better kept to yourself or thrown in the trash depending on the severity.

This is an indication of a much deeper problem. I was invited the first Mythic Invitational, and proved in my near miss top-16 performance (two feature matches) that you don’t need ten years of experience in the old boys club to shine. The elitist bullshit needs to stop in MTG.

THERES MORE he also claims I don’t know who WOTC is. I tried explaining the ranked leaderboard (foolishly) but he’s willfully ignorant after being informed his mistake and I no longer have the time. He also says I’m a thief, brb stealing all your accomplishments 😂

@Brossentia I've been harassed by four different communities over seven years because I never asked permission of community members to submit runs. I expect harassment now whenever I submit. I have to ask myself: am I currently strong enough to handle harassment before submitting.

Hi I’m Skybilz! I have a positive attitude and years of doing commentary for Speedrunning and Hosting via Games Done Quick. I’ve been playing MTG since 2011, competed in two Mythic events and am more than happy to be a host or commentator for MTG tourneys when needed.
